Every piece of jewellery from Sette is crafted with durability in mind, from initial design to the final stage of production. Meticulously crafted and hand finished using locally sourced, recycled materials, our skilled specialists oversee every phase of the production process. We use solid 925 silver, gold plating, rhodium plating and black ruthenium plating, and due to the delicate nature of these materials, they require careful handling. To preserve your Sette pieces, we encourage you to carefully read our jewellery care guide.
RECOMMENDATIONS
Keep jewellery away from harsh chemicals. Exposure to products, perfumes, oil sprays, lotions, and cleaners can tarnish metals and damage stones.
Remove your jewellery before engaging in activities that might lead to physical damage or knocks. This includes exercise, gardening, swimming, or any sports that could potentially expose your pieces to high impact or harsh environments.
Avoid leaving your jewellery in extreme temperatures, as both heat and cold can cause metals to deform and stones to crack.
If not being worn, we recommend storing each piece of jewellery separately to prevent scratches or tangling. Use a SETTE soft pouch for each piece, or a fabric-lined jewellery box.
To protect your jewellery from moisture, always remove it before bathing, swimming, or engaging in activities that cause perspirationStore in a cool, dry place when not in use. If travelling to humid countries, store in mini zip lock bags to maintain condition.
To maintain your jewellery's shine and remove accumulated oils or dirt, clean regularly using a lint-free microfibre cloth, such as one used for sunglasses, to prevent scratching the surface. For our purely silver pieces, you may use a jewellery polishing cloth, but avoid using these on plated pieces as they can be mildly abrasive. For a deeper clean, briefly soak your jewellery in warm water and then gently dry it with a soft cloth or disposable tissue.
